Jules is a woman in her forties who’s 5 months out of her marriage and getting pressured by her greatest friends into obtaining “back out there” and finding the dating scene not her type. But with a teenage son who would be happier if she were to hide out within the house, she gets the business from him when she feels like she’s “allowed to own a life.”
Now in her forties, she finds herself as a divorcee and eager to stay the dating scene that she missed. Laurie, her younger co-worker, would like to show Jules tips on how to go in existence and have entertaining. Ellie, her sarcastic, married and content material to her typical but lovable husband Andy.
